Bring the whole family out for some nature-focused fun! Hunt and identify frog related facts in the new Town Erie Canal Nature Preserve. This event is for individuals, friends, families, frog lovers, nature seekers and trivia buffs, who are excited to get out of the house and want to enjoy nature-focused fun. Meet village leaders and experts in environmental concerns.
Join the scavenger hunt from A Frog House into the wild of the new Town Erie Canal Nature Preserve. This is a fun way to spend some time with friends and family to learn and share with the community of the Erie Canal.
- Hear and see the frogs!
- Experience frog sounds and images!
- Learn what invasive plants there are and how they are affected by climate change and how they affect frogs
- Connect with our environment and learn tips on how to protect wildlife, insects, birds and amphibians
- Win prizes!
Starts at A Frog House and begins at 1 pm. Arrive anytime between 1 pm and 4 pm and get back by 5. Suggested donation $10 – $50. Pay what you can. Nobody turned away for lack of funds.
