Why Attend?
Celebrate Margot’s 85th birthday while supporting A Frog House’s conservation work.
By April 2025, our small but mighty team raised $24,000 to build three new vernal ponds at the Robert C. Corby Arboretum and Wildlife Sanctuary.
Now we’re launching a new initiative: helping people create small vernal ponds in their own backyards. Your support brings this vision to life.
All donations to our 501c3 charity organization are tax-deductible.
The Festivities

Jason Vance
Jason is a dynamic performer and educator who blends his Appalachian heritage with interactive musical play, storytelling, and community connection.
His one-man band act—banjo, harmonica, percussion, and vocals—invites everyone, especially kids, to learn and participate through music, dance, and stories.
Matthew “Max” Fass
Matthew Fass is a Master of Ceremonies, accordionist, keyboardist, and pianist. Matthew is also an accomplished event producer, music director of the NYC Village Halloween Parade, and co-creator of the Seed Song Farm brass festival.

Bonnie Abrams
Award-winning songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, Bonnie will perform original frog and vernal pond songs.
Laurie Leenhouts
Founder of SILO, Laurie is a versatile fiddle player with roots in pop, folk, and Irish music.

Margot Fass ~ Birthday celebrant and founder of A Frog House, Margot is an artist, activist, and psychiatrist devoted to frog and wetland conservation.

S. Lindsay Graham Her daughter, founder of Car-Pal and a vital marketing volunteer for A Frog House

Parking Use public parking in Pittsford and walk along the canal (eastbound). A Frog House is the third house on the left from the bridge, just before the greenhouse, along the TowPath.

Froggy Family’s First Frolic
In 2019, Margot published her first book called Froggy Family’s First Frolic, written and conceived with the help of her husband, Martin L. Fass.
This children’s picture book has 18 color reproductions of original oil paintings by Margot and describes a night in the life of a family of Red Eyed Tree Frogs (Agalychnis Callidryas) family.
It’s available for purchase here or below and all proceeds benefit our work. Jason will read the book aloud for everyone to enjoy.
